 Burns Elementary Activities

                                 Feb 21-28th

   

Feb 28th-  Kindergarten Discovery Day-  8-10 am- For students eligible for Kindergarten next school year to help them get to know our teachers and ready for Kindergarten Screening.  Must be 5 by 9/15/20. You will need to provide your own transportation and please let the school know if your child will be attending.  

 

Friday School- Feb 21 & 28th-  8-10am- Your child’s teacher will let you know if they would like your child to attend by Wednesday.  Teachers will need to know if your child will need transportation no later than Thursday at noon in order to have it arranged with the bus garage.  The bus garage will then release the schedule to all parents and inform you of the scheduled stops by email.   

 

Yearbook orders due by March 30th!   Order online at ybpay.lifetouch.com   - code 9746720 or send in the envelope that was sent home.

 

LOOKING AHEAD:  

March 5th- 4th grade field trip to the Capital, State Museum & Judicial Learning Center

March 6 & 13 & 20th- No Friday school for any students

March 19th- End of quarter 3

March 20th & 27th- Kindergarten Screening- please call the office for an appointment

March 24th- 6th grade Tetanus shot clinic

March 26th- Music Festival in Albin

March 27th- Friday School 8-10 am

 

School Lunch Menu for next week:

Monday:Breakfast-  Nutrigrain Bar      Lunch-   Spaghetti or BBQ Chicken Sandwich 

Tuesday:Breakfast-  Bagel & Cream Cheese   Lunch-   Pulled Pork Sandwich or Biscuits and Gravy   

Wednesday: Breakfast-  French Toast Bites   Lunch-   Cereal Fun Lunch or Ham & Cheese Sandwich

Thursday:Breakfast- Breakfast Pizza   Lunch-  Pepperoni Stromboli or Corn Dog
