About My Classroom

I have a very small classroom size this year with fourteen students (mostly girls).

Your student does not have me alone for a teacher. Mrs. Hellbaum and I team teach. I teach both classes writing and Mrs. Hellbaum teaches both sections of math. We also do some social studies and science lesson together.

Your student will have homework nightly. I am asking parents to read each night for at least 20 minutes with your student. Studies show that even reading 20 minutes a day increases your student's ability to score higher on homework and tests.

Your student will also have a weekly spelling test and vocabulary test. Below is a link that your student can use to practice spelling his/her spelling words and then play some fun learning games as a reinforcement.

See my calendar on my home page for upcoming events.
