World Literature  

View Events/Assignments for 

Students in Tenth Grade World Literature will assay literature from a variety of cultures to develop claims and counter claims on themes, literary forms, historical and cultural context, as well as author intent and use of language. Students will write literary and informative pieces on substantive topics to address real world issues using precise language. Students will converse thoughtfully and respectfully on topics of cultural diversity, integrating multiple sources of information, and evaluating credibility and accuracy of responses.
