Grant Opportunities - Recreation Mill



In an effort to improve the quality of life for and provide for indoor and outdoor recreation opportunities throughout Laramie County School District #2, the LCSD#2 Recreation Board of Directors is soliciting requests for 2019 recreation fund competitive grant. This grant is available to all patrons within the boundaries of LCSD#2. The primary objective of the LCSD#2 Recreation Board is to support and assist the communities of Laramie County School District #2 and to bridge the gap with the support of recreation resources to maintain and develop facilities and programs for the students and the community. At the July 9th, 2018 Budget Hearing, the Laramie County School District #2 Board of Trustees, approved a 1.0 mill on the assessed valuation of the school district to be used for Recreation within the boundaries of the Laramie County School District #2. The LCSD#2 Board of Trustees has the discretion to levy the recreation one (1.0) mill each year based on W.S. 18-9-201.


Completed applications for Recreation District funding should be received no later than 4:00 p.m., January 31st, 2019 in the LCSD#2 Business Office, 311 East 8th Street, P.O. Box 489, Pine Bluffs, Wyoming 82082.
