Burns Elementary Activities

                                  Oct 19-26th

BEPO Fall Carnival in the BES Gym on Saturday Oct 20th.  6-8:00 pm.

                                      

Please send photos of Veterans from your family for us to include in our Veteran’s assembly.

 

Oct 23rd- Tuesday-  Please wear RED in honor of Red Ribbon Week!

 

Thursday Oct 25 - End of Quarter 1

 

Friday School- Oct 19 & 26 - By teacher invitation only-  you will be notified if your child will be asked to come.

 

LOOKING AHEAD:

Halloween Parade:Wednesday Oct 31 at 2:15pm in the BES Gym.  Classroom parties will begin after the parade is over. Parents are welcome to come and see the parade.

 

Parent Teachers Conferences:  November 1st, Nov 8 or Nov 9. You will receive your scheduled times in a letter in the mail.

 

Picture Retakes on November 6th.  

 

Yoyo Assembly- November 6th

 

No Friday School on November 2nd or 9th because of Parent Conferences

Veterans Day Assembly - Nov 12th at 2:15- The community is welcome to attend.

Liberty Fundraiser Delivery Date- Nov 14 -Items must be picked up from 3:30-6 pm

Thanksgiving Break- No school  Nov 21-23

Christmas Concerts- K-2nd grade Nov 29    3rd-6th grade December 13th.

 

School Lunch Menu for the week:

Monday:Breakfast-Breakfast Pizza           Lunch-  Nachos or Chicken Patty Sandwich

Tuesday:Breakfast-Apple Frudel               Lunch-  Chili or Cheese Stuffed Breadsticks  

Wednesday:Breakfast-Mini French Toast     Lunch- Cheeseburger or Toasted Cheese Sandwich  

Thursday: Breakfast- Pancake on a stick      Lunch- Cheese Pizza or Bean Buritto
